Quality Standards
Quality is not a final inspection — it is a discipline maintained at every stage of production. Halo Labs operates under a tiered system of in-process and final-product controls designed to catch deviations before they reach the researcher's bench.
Synthesis Pipeline
Production begins with high-grade amino acid building blocks sourced from qualified suppliers. Each lot of raw material is verified before it enters our synthesis pipeline. Synthesis is performed on automated solid-phase instruments under controlled environmental conditions.
In-Process Controls
At critical points during synthesis, samples are pulled for analytical verification. Coupling efficiency is monitored, and any sequence showing incomplete coupling is flagged for additional treatment or, in some cases, restarted from an earlier point. This adds time but eliminates a major source of impurity.
Independent Third-Party Verification
Final purity and identity testing is performed by independent laboratories. We do not certify our own work in isolation. This separation between production and verification is a foundational principle of our quality program.
Traceability
Every batch carries a unique lot number that links back through every step of its production history — raw material lots, synthesis parameters, purification conditions, and final QC results. If a question ever arises about a specific vial, we can reconstruct its full provenance.
Continuous Improvement
Quality programs that stand still fall behind. We routinely review batch records, customer feedback, and analytical trends to identify opportunities for improvement. New methods are validated rigorously before they replace existing ones.
Key Takeaways
- Quality is built into every stage, not added at the end.
- In-process controls catch problems before they propagate.
- Independent third-party labs verify final purity and identity.
- Full traceability supports investigation of any anomaly.
